Fiorentina defender Manuel Pasqual has insisted that the Tuscan side are aiming to lift the Europa League trophy this term.
The Viola are currently top of Group E and have qualified for the round of 32. The left-back though, has claimed that his team want silverware this season to start a cycle of success.
“We all feel good,” he told reporters. “I believe that this team is equipped for success. I am convinced that this club will continue to invest for success.
“We’re a little behind the likes of Juventus and Roma, who have the advantage of not playing in any other competitions this season.
“But I believe we can fight for the League, the Champions League places and the Europa League.
“I would sign up now for a top three place and lifting the Europa League. That would start a cycle of success.
“The Della Valle family deserve that.”
