Man City to fight for Cesar - report

Julio Cesar could be targeted by Manchester City, reports in the British Press have suggested this afternoon.

The Queens Park Ranger shot-stopper has been targeted by Fiorentina in recent weeks, but the Evening Standard have claimed that the Premier League club could make a January offer for the Brazil international.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp has conceded that the Selecao man has to play if he’s to make next summer’s World Cup – but has found first team opportunities hard to come by in west London this season.

As such, Manuel Pellegrini could make a move for the former Inter man as a potential replacement for the out of form Joe Hart.
