Chievo face Hellas Verona on Saturday, and Luca Toni has claimed that it will be a ‘special game’.
The promoted side host their bitter city rivals in the derby at the weekend, and the striker has insisted that he wants to win for the fans,
“Chievo are in a dangerous position in the table,” he told reporters. “So they will desperately want to win.
“We may be in a better position, but we are coming off the back of a bad defeat and want to get some points.
“It’s going to be a special game. The fans in this city let us know how important the match is – we feel their expectation.
“Chievo are a team that are used to playing in decisive matches, fighting to stay in the League and such. But we will stay focused.”
