The defender is back in Milan after representing the Azzurri in west London earlier this week, where Cesare Prandelli’s team drew 2-2 with the African champions.

The 25-year-old though, was impressed with Fulham’s home ground.

“I thought we played a good game in London,” he told Inter Channel. “The stadium was beautiful as well.

“I really enjoyed it there. We played just a few metres from the fans, and it really created a bond with the supporters.

“I’m a bit tired after the travelling, but I can’t play on Sunday because I’m suspended, so that gives me a bit longer to recover.”
