Genoa President Enrico Preziosi has declared himself ‘satisfied’ with the club’s season so far.
The Grifone are currently seventh in the table, having won five of their 12 games this campaign.
And the chief has insisted that early term results are down to hard work at all levels.
“I am satisfied with what we’ve done so far,” he told the club’s official website. “There is an understanding and a desire to stick together.
“I hope that we continue to play this way – we’ve needed it after the last two years. Genoa are going well, but we won’t stop here.
“These wins are not down to luck, they are because of investment and decisions made in the summer.
“We have a good squad, full of quality players. We, theoretically, have two teams that could do well.”
