The Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed the secret to Antonio Cassano’s success at Parma this season.
The 31-year-old joined the Stadio Tardini outfit in the summer after he brought his Inter career to an end after just one campaign.
Cassano, who hasn’t played for Italy since the Final of Euro 2012, has scored five goals in 13 Serie A games for the club. He has one in one Coppa Italia tie.
The former Roma and Milan man’s latest strike came in the shock 1-0 win at Napoli on Saturday night.
According to the Gazzetta, Cassano has benefitted from an upturn in fitness. The player apparently arrived at the Gialloblu weighing 91kg – but the scales now read 80.5kg.
