Fredy Guarin is looking on the bright side of Inter’s frustrating draw at Bologna on Sunday night.
The Nerazzurri could have joined Napoli in third and had enough opportunities to win the game, but they only collected a 1-1 draw.
“We’ll continue on our path,” the Colombian told Inter Channel. “In a game like that it’s also important not to lose and claim a point.
“We played a good game and were always in control of the play. A win would have been great because we had an important chance in the standings.
“It’s a shame we couldn’t take all three points. We really played well and created lots of chances, but we had a bit of bad luck.
“We’ll move forward with our heads held high,” he added. “Bologna needed the three points and played well.
“The team played well and it’s a shame that second goal didn’t arrive.”
The Beneamata will face Sampdoria in Week 14, while Napoli are away to Lazio.
