Mario Gomez has been given the all-clear by doctors in Germany, according to reports in the Italian Press.
The Fiorentina striker travelled back to his homeland today to discover how his recovery from his knee injury was going.
And despite initial stories suggesting that the former Bayern Munich man wouldn’t find out until Tuesday, Radio Blu have insisted that the centre-forward has been given positive news by Professor Muller Wohlfahrt.
Gomez will not play in the Europa League game against Pacos de Ferreira, and will more than likely not participate in the match with Hellas Verona next weekend.
The Mannschaft international though, will be in the squad for the clash with Roma on December 8.
