Fernando Llorente has insisted that his only focus at the moment is to do well with Juventus, and get his team to the Champions League knock-out round.
The Bianconeri host Copenhagen tomorrow in a must-win match for Antonio Conte’s men, but the striker has claimed that his only worry is doing well for the club, not peaking for the World Cup.
The more I play, the better I feel,” he told a Press conference. “I’ve always said that I want to improve every day.
“I want to be a better player and I believe I’m doing a good job here, where I’m also able to help the team. I think that I can still develop a lot more.
“There’s still a long way to go until the World Cup, now isn’t the moment to talk about that. I know that I have to do really well here, that’s the main thing on my mind, and helping this team to win could be what gives me the chance to be there.”
