“The Christmas Tree formation returns tonight and we hope it will go well. I didn’t dislike the team on Saturday night against Genoa and if any of those chances had gone into the goal, we would’ve avoided all the controversy.

“The Champions League theme music does us good and I hope it will fire up the players to the right degree.”

Galliani admitted today his future at the club is in doubt, though he remained cagey.

“I don’t want to talk about these events. I haven’t written my Milan will. Could I become an ambassador for Milan? Perhaps one day, but I feel young and in good shape, so it’s too early to be an ambassador.”
