Inter boss Walter Mazzarri is respectful of the threat Sampdoria will carry at the weekend following the appointment of Sinisa Mihajlovic.
The Serbian replaced Delio Rossi at Marassi last week and came within seconds of winning his opening game against Lazio, a tie that eventually ended 1-1.
“I will carefully study Sampdoria,” Mazzarri, a former Doria boss, told Il Secolo XIX. “They seem to have a good squad.
“But they will now be more fired up with Mihajlovic in charge.
“There is always a boost when a new Coach arrives and therefore this is the worst time possible to be playing them.”
The Nerazzurri are fourth in the table, just two points adrift of the Champions League zone. Samp, meanwhile, are in the relegation spots after 13 games.
