Leandro Castan says Roma’s primary target this season is to finish in the top three – not win the Scudetto.
The Giallorossi underlined their title credentials by winning their first 10 games of the campaign. However, three successive draws have allowed Juventus to take control of the standings.
“These draws have taught us where we have gone wrong,” the centre-back stated during a web chat with fans.
“But I think we are on the right road. We are in second place and that is a good thing.
“There are always things to improve on and I’m sure we will do that in order to finish the season as high as possible.
“We want to qualify for the Champions League and we are on the correct path to achieve such an objective.”
The Stadio Olimpico outfit will face a trip to Atalanta this weekend.
