Ancelotti: 'Balotelli must stay at Milan'

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti warned Mario Balotelli “absolutely must remain at Milan.”

There have been reports the striker could consider an exit from San Siro, but Ancelotti feels that would be a bad move for everyone involved.

“He absolutely must remain at Milan because he is a great talent,” the Coach told Radio Capital.

“Great players are always resources, but everyone has to take responsibility for their own place in the club, whether they are players or Coaches.

“As for Milan, you win with champions. You win a race with horses, not donkeys.”

Ancelotti was also drawn on the battle for the Ballon d’Or between Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Leo Messi.

“God gave Ronaldo something special and I’d like to give him the Ballon d’Or. Would I like Messi at Real Madrid too? I’d prefer a champion in a different role, as we have enough strikers...”
