Javier Pastore has rubbished reports that he is set for a January loan switch to Roma. “I’m staying at Paris Saint-Germain.”
Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini knows the Argentine well as he was the man responsible for taking him to Palermo.
And more fuel was added to the transfer fire by the attacking midfielder’s recent trip to the Italian capital.
“All of the whispers about my exit are incorrect and far from the truth,” Pastore commented. “As I have said before, I was the first to sign for this club and I will be the last one to leave.
“I’m not returning to Italian football. I only go back to the country to see friends, nothing more.
“I did spend two days in Rome with my wife, but I’m staying in Paris.”
