A representative of the Manchester City player claims “no Italian clubs have asked after Micah Richards since the summer.”
The winger confessed at the weekend that he could consider a move away from Eastlands if he did not get more playing time.
Calcionews24.com spoke to Dario Canovi, a FIFA representative who has dealings with Richards’ agents.
“Knowing what he is worth, I assume City will do everything possible not to let him get away.
“There was contact with Napoli, Inter and Milan, but these go back to last season. No Italian clubs have asked after Richards since the summer.
“He is a player who is generating a lot of interest in Europe, whether it’s in England, Spain or Germany. He is a top level player.”
