Arturo Vidal netted against Bologna for his 11th goal of the season and revealed the secret to his Juventus success.
The Chile international scored in last night’s 2-0 victory at the Stadio Dall’Ara, his sixth Serie A goal of the campaign along with five in the Champions League.
“I watch the ball and stay focused,” he explained of his excellent scoring record.
In Andrea Pirlo’s absence, Vidal played on the inside right of midfield, though he had originally been expected to take the deep-lying playmaker role.
“That’s for the manager to decide, the most important thing is that the team wins. I’m happy with how this evening went,” he told the Juventus website.
“It wasn’t easy to remain focused purely on tonight’s game, given our Champions League encounter in three days’ time, but every match we play needs to represent the game of our lives.”
Juventus must avoid defeat away to Galatasaray on Tuesday in order to qualify for the knockouts.
