Giovanni Trapattoni says he will continue his coaching career with an international side – possibly a World Cup 2014 qualifier.
Trap, 74, is looking to return to the game after leaving the Republic of Ireland job by mutual consent in September.
“I’ve had offers to close the season with club sides, but I’m not a stop-gap boss,” noted the former Juventus and Inter tactician to the Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I’m evaluating a number of offers. I’ll certainly sit on the bench of a national side again because I’m too young for a desk job…
“I could even be at the World Cup.”
Trap had recently revealed that he was wanted by clubs sides in America and Japan.
