Domenico Berardi will not feature against Juventus next weekend – the club who co-own him – after the Sassuolo man was booked.
The 19-year-old, who some are already saying will join the Old Lady in the summer, picked up a yellow card in the loss to Chievo on Sunday.
He will thus be suspended for the trip to the Juventus Stadium which may soon become his new home.
The attacker, who Juve signed a share of for €4.5m in the summer, has been in fine form during his first top-flight campaign.
The teenager has grabbed seven goals in 11 top-flight games so far this term.
Italy boss Cesare Prandelli should be at the Juve-Sassuolo tie as well given that he is monitoring players ahead of World Cup 2014.
