New Inter owner Erick Thohir expects the Italian club to make use of the January transfer session.
“It won’t just be up to me who Inter sign,” the Indonesian businessman told Liputan 6 in an interview. “Every decision will be discussed with all of the staff at Inter.
“It’s very likely that we will make some new signings next month and that a few players in the current squad will be sent out on loan.
“But these are things that we will evaluate with the Coach closer to the time.”
Thohir bought 70 per cent of the Beneamata from Massimo Moratti recently and he has clear ideas about his primary objective.
“I want Inter to return to being a healthy club in financial senses,” he added. “When that is done then we will return to being a strong club, get back to thinking about winning titles.”
Inter, now bossed by Walter Mazzarri, are currently fourth in the standings – four points behind third-placed Napoli and one clear of Fiorentina.
