Bologna have suggested they will keep boss Stefano Pioli for the rest of the season – despite the club’s struggles.
The Rossoblu are second from bottom after winning just two of their 15 League games so far. That form had raised doubts about the tactician’s future.
“Pioli will remain for now,” stated President Albano Guaraldi. “We’ll speak again in June to decide whether we stay together or not.
“Bologna need a bit of luck,” added the chief. “This time last year we changed direction for the best and we are growing.
“The transfer market? I read and hear about many names, but the truth is that there are presently no negotiations taking place.
“We’ll see what happens in two weeks.”
Bologna will face Fiorentina, Genoa, Catania and Lazio next.
