Arteta 'playing Napoli to win'

Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta has insisted that the Premier League side will face Napoli tonight looking for a win.

The north London club go to Stadio San Paolo knowing that a 2-0 defeat would still be enough to see them through to the last 16.

However, the Spaniard has claimed that his men will go for three points.

“We will take to the field looking to win,” he told Sky Sports. “We are not relying on calculations.

“We want to win and keep up our level of performance ready for the knockout stages.

“We know that there will be plenty of our fans in Naples, and we want to repay them with a good performance.

“Napoli have some great players, and we know from the first game that they will be a complicated team to play against.

“They deserve great respect.”
