Spezia released a statement confirming the dismissal after a 4-0 defeat to Varese this afternoon.
Despite that heavy loss, the club remains comfortably mid-table with 24 points from 18 games.
Although it is not yet official, it’s believed former Palermo and Italy Under-21 Coach Mangia will be brought in as his replacement.
