“The difficult part of the season begins now,” said the Coach in his Press conference.
“We are facing an interesting team in good shape who are doing well this term. The Granata are part of the same group of sides as Udinese, with the right mixture of experience, youth and quality.
“We are coming off three good performances where we could’ve earned more points, but they are gone now and we have to focus on picking up other results.
“Like me, Giampiero Ventura is no longer a spring chicken, but he is a very experienced Coach who knows all the tactical systems. I still remember when he used three defenders at Venezia.
“Alessio Cerci has become a mature player now, the one we were already talking about six years ago. You need patience with youngsters and now he has become a regular in the Italy squad.
“There are many interesting elements that make up the Granata side.”
The good news for Udinese is that hitman Di Natale is available again, but Maurizio Domizzi is suspended with Luis Muriel, Francesco Benussi and Matias Ranegie sidelined.
