Parma may have extended their unbeaten record to five games, but Antonio Mirante is still not satisfied.

The Gialloblu haven’t lost since being beaten at home by Juventus, yet the 0-0 draw with Cagliari at the weekend did frustrate the goalkeeper.

“Obviously we are happy to have continued our streak, but we would have preferred a victory,” the former Juventus custodian told Parma Channel.

“Let us say that such a result didn’t completely satisfy us. We’ll now head to Genoa with the intention of beating Sampdoria.”

Although Sampdoria have struggled this term, Mirante has underlined that their form under new boss Sinisa Mihajlovic has impressed.

“They are in the middle of an important run themselves,” the Italian added. “But we want to take a decisive turn before Christmas.”

Samp, two wins and two draws from their last four, are only three places and two points adrift of the Stadio Tardini outfit in the standings.
