“I am convinced that we can achieve our goals at Lazio this season. The team is doing very well and I’m sure sooner or later we will come in for some luck.

“I want to assure people that I am not overlooking Lazio in the slightest.”

Petkovic’s immediate future has been thrown into doubt, with reports suggesting he could be sacked at Stadio Olimpico within the next 24 hours.
