Sampdoria President Edoardo Garrone believes that his side will have to ‘fight’ if they are to avoid relegation.
The Bluerchiati have gone unbeaten since Sinisa Mihajlovic as appointed last month, but the club’s chief has insisted that his men are still not safe from the drop.
“Make no mistake,” he told Samp TV. “It’s still a long way until the end of the season and we will have to fight.
“We have ended this year with six positive results and that bodes well for the future.
“The team is playing with heart and aggression, and that gives me hope going forward.
“We have chosen a Coach with great character and now we must not give an inch in order to go forward.”
