Verona forward Juan Manuel Iturbe survived unscathed after a horrific car crash in Paraguay.
The Argentina Under-20 international is in South America for his vacation and the details of the accident are still unclear.
Pictures have emerged of the demolished car, but Iturbe emerged without injury.
It is believed his friend was driving at 150km/h when they crashed into a truck, but Iturbe and a woman they were with did not sustain injuries.
The striker has dual nationality and played for Paraguay at Under-17 and Under-20 level before switching to Argentina.
He has scored four goals in 13 Serie A games this season.
