Napoli are active on the January transfer market, targeting Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons and Marseille defender Nicolas Nkoulou.
Gonalons is not a new option, as negotiations had practically been completed over the summer before the player rejected the move, complaining he would not get a regular first team spot.
The talks have reportedly resumed with Olympique Lyonnais and in January the 24-year-old defensive midfielder could well change his mind for €12m.
According to Sky Sport Italia, another name on Coach Rafa Benitez’s wish-list is Olympique Marseille defender Nkoulou, who faced Napoli in the Champions League group phase.
The 23-year-old Cameroon international centre-back has already been linked with Chelsea and Barcelona with a price-tag of around €11m.
