Former Lazio forward Tommaso Rocchi has admitted that he is ‘pleased’ the capital club have gone for Edy Reja.
It is believed that the Biancocelesti have opted for the 58-year-old tactician as a replacement for Vladimir Petkovic. And the Padova forward has conceded that it is a great choice, but is concerned about the way Reja left the Stadio Olimpico in 2012.
“Reja is a fantastic Coach,” he told Il Tempo. “He has charisma and knows all the players and the environment.
“I do have my doubts though, because of the return. I’m concerned about the way he left the club previously.
“There were disagreements with directors and the likes.
“But that doesn’t mean that they can’t have a great season though.”
