Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has revealed that he would consider a move back to Inter.
The Argentine tactician was a player at San Siro between 1997 and 1999, and has admitted that it would be ‘an honour’ to go back to the Nerazzurri.
“Inter? It would be an honour,” he told Il Giornale. “But for now, all that talk is left to the newspapers.
“I see myself at Atletico Madrid for some time yet. Some say I might become the Ferguson of the Colchoneros.”
The 43-year-old then commented on his side’s Champions League clash with Milan in February.
“We will play the Rossoneri on a par with them. I don’t want to say too much about it, because it’s a long way away yet.
“Allegri? He’s a very good Coach.”
