French newspapers claim Roma could take Javier Pastore on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in January.
The Argentina international midfielder left Palermo in August 2011 in a transfer worth €42m (£37m).
He has repeatedly been linked with a return to Serie A, as Juventus, Inter, Napoli, Milan and Fiorentina all showed an interest.
According to L’Equipe this morning, PSG are prepared to release Pastore in the January window, but only on a six-month loan.
Roma are prepared to accept that deal with no option to buy at the end of the season.
