The Atomic Ant was one of Italy’s brightest young prospects, but he turns 27 next month and has made only 13 appearances for Juve in all competition this season.

Over the last few days he has been linked with numerous January transfer deals, used as part-exchange for Torino winger Alessio Cerci, Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia and Parma talent Antonio Cassano.

“There is nothing concrete on Giovinco’s departure and there never has been,” insisted agent Claudio Pasqualin on Tuttojuve.com.

“We, Juventus and Coach Antonio Conte maintain Sebastian is a champion in a squad of champions. Juve are a top club and as such have very strong players both on the field and on the bench.

“The lad is happy to be at Juventus and the Bianconeri are happy to have him in their ranks. He never even considered leaving Juventus.”
