Roma are formulating a proposal for Parma midfielder Marco Parolo, according to the Corriere della Sera.
The Italian is known to be rated highly by Giallorosso sporting director Walter Sabatini and a January bid is likely.
The Corriere della Sera claims the capital club are ready to offer €2.5m for a 50 per cent share in the former Cesena player.
Roma could also offer young defender Alessio Romagnoli to the Stadio Tardini outfit as part of the deal.
Parolo, 28, has scored six goals in 16 League games this term as he looks to make Italy’s World Cup squad.
