West Ham have reportedly made an offer for veteran Atalanta defender Guglielmo Stendardo.
The rumour emerged in today’s edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport.
It is suggested the Hammers have approached Atalanta with a proposal for the 32-year-old centre-back.
Former Lazio man Stendardo has made 13 Serie A appearances this season, scoring two goals thanks to his strength in the air.
This week Atalanta signed defender Yohan Benalouane from Parma, so have his replacement already.
