As expected, Cagliari have officially sold defender Lorenzo Ariaudo to Sassuolo and he could debut on Monday.
The move had been in the air and was completed this evening with announcements from both clubs.
The 24-year-old had been in Sardinia since July 2010, but managed only four Serie A appearances this season.
Ariaudo grew up in the Juventus youth academy and had already been loaned to Cagliari in January 2010 before making the move permanent six months later.
Sassuolo and Cagliari have not disclosed the fee, but he could make his debut on Monday against Genoa.
