Sacchi: Pogba shouldn’t leave

Arrigo Sacchi has advised Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba: “When you are feeling well at a club, you should not leave.”

The Frenchman has risen to prominence during his 18 months in Turin so far and has attracted reported interest from a number of clubs, including Real Madrid.

However, Los Blancos’ former sporting director has considered that the midfielder’s best option is staying where he is.

Paul has a lot of quality and has been lucky to arrive at Juventus at the right time,” Sacchi has commented to Tuttosport.

“Juventus are an example of a team that multiplies the quality of the individual. When you are feeling well at a club you should not leave, because €1m more or less doesn't make someone richer or poorer.

“A player should primarily think about his career and there are plenty of instances of big players switching clubs for higher wages then flopping with their new team.”
