Paolo Cannavaro looks set to leave Napoli this month, and reports have claimed that he could join Genoa.
The central defender has been a peripheral figure at Stadio San Paolo this season under Rafa Benitez, playing just four matches all term.
As such, the 32-year-old is expected to move away from the Partenopei, and Corriere dello Sport have insisted that the Grifone could be an option for the veteran.
They cite the good relationship between the two clubs, especially between Presidents Aurelio De Laurentiis and Enrico Preziosi, as one reason why Cannavaro will make the switch.
