Davide Ballardini has rubbished reports that he is set to become the new Coach of Sassuolo.
The 50-year-old has been linked with replacing Eusebio Di Francesco at the Neroverdi, as well as becoming Stefano Pioli’s successor at Bologna.
However, the former Genoa man has denied rumours of him taking over at the promoted side.
“I have not had any contact with Sassuolo,” he told Calcio News 24. “There has been no meeting set up with Nereo Bonato.”
