Napoli set sights on Banega - report

Having missed out on Maxime Gonalons, Napoli have now set their sights on Valencia midfielder Ever Banega.

Lyon President Jean-Miche Aulas revealed on Tuesday that the club had rejected a €17m offer from the Partenopei for Gonalons.

And as such, Sport Mediaset have claimed that Rafa Benitez’s men are now looking at the Argentina international to bolster their midfield.

The website believe that the draw of potential Champions League football will entice Banega to Stadio San Paolo, with Valencia struggling in their fight for the fourth spot in Spain.
