Centurion set for Catania

The agent of Genoa winger Ricardo Centurion confirmed “an agreement has nearly been reached” with Catania.

“I received a phone call from Italy informing me that an agreement has nearly been reached,” representative Eduardo Rossetto told CalcioCatania.com.

“They still need the all-clear from Genoa, but Catania should be in his future. The Genoa Coach never really considered him over the last few months, so the best thing is for him to play elsewhere.

“It will almost certainly be a loan deal. Catania are an important club and he’d be happy with the move, seeing as he’d be reunited with many of his fellow countrymen and former teammates.”

Argentine Centurion arrived in Genoa from Racing Avellaneda in the summer, but made only four Serie A appearances.
