Torino have announced the capture of midfielder Panagiotis Tachtsidis on a provisional loan deal from Catania.
Tachtsidis only joined the Sicilians in the summer from Genoa, as part of a co-ownership deal that had Francesco Lodi moving up to the Grifoni.
However, after 12 appearances for the Elefanti, the last of which came over a month ago, the 22-year-old has been confirmed by Torino as having signed for them.
Reporting the news through their official website, Il Toro say they have the Greek youngster on loan for the rest of the season, with a purchase option in place to take Catania’s 50 per cent share in the summer.
