“We have many reasons to put in a great performance,” said Nicola in his Press conference.

“We need only a small step more to truly get what we deserve. Nothing is impossible and we must have belief in our football for the whole 90 minutes.

“Last Sunday we played very well over both halves and are now so close to reaching our form. This is another opportunity to make that step up.”
The Amaranto are in joint bottom place with just 13 points from 18 Serie A games, but so far the club has resisted sacking Nicola.

“We trained with conviction during the week and we can turn this around. Pasquale Schiattarella is out, but we will very probably move to a three-man defence.

“Parma were born to be in the top eight positions, but what really matters in this match is what we want to achieve. It’s up to us now to show we can do something good.”
