Davide Ballardini was satisfied with his Bologna debut in a 0-0 draw with Lazio, even if they were jeered off the field.
The ultras were very attached to Coach Stefano Pioli and had banners showing their affection for the recently-sacked tactician in tonight’s game.
“We must do everything possible to satisfy our fans and win over their respect and affection,” said Ballardini.
“We didn’t create a huge amount, but Lazio only had one scoring opportunity. For long spells Bologna did well, though we had a dip for 15 minutes.
“Lazio are a great side, so I see positive aspects of this result.”
