After their 3-0 defeat to Parma, Livorno have confirmed that they have sacked Coach Davide Nicola.
After guiding them to promotion from Serie B last season, the 40-year-old has struggled to bring in the results for the Amaranto this term.
And with the club second-from-bottom in the table, the Armando Picchi outfit have confirmed that the tactician has been relieved of his duties.
“Livorno Calcio can announce that it has dismissed first team Coach Davide Nicola,” a statement on their website read.
“The club would like to thank the Coach for his professionalism and dedication.”
It’s been a bleak few days for Serie A bosses, with Stefano Pioli, Massimiliano Allegri and now Nicola all being dismissed.
