Inter are whittling down their squad, as Alvaro Pereira is close to Sao Paulo and Andrea Ranocchia in Borussia Dortmund talks.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Nerazzurri are in the process of selling several players over the January transfer window.
Alvaro Pereira’s situation seems the clearest, as there are reports of a deal to take him on loan for €1m with an option to buy at the end of the season for a further €7m.
This would give the Uruguay international the opportunity for more playing time ahead of the World Cup.
As for Ranocchia, he has been given the permission to discuss terms with other clubs, but so far interest has been timid.
Sky maintain Borussia Dortmund are stepping up negotiations after suffering a series of injury problems in defence.
Centre-back Ranocchia had also been linked with the likes of Chelsea, Everton and Juventus.
It is suggested Borussia Dortmund offered €7m compared to the €15m asking price, but that a deal could be struck at around €11m.
This is still a step down for Inter, who paid €18m for Ranocchia just three years ago.
