FantAntonio had been dropped for two games in a row after pushing for a January transfer to Sampdoria, but returned today and scored in a 2-1 victory at Chievo.

“I have to thank Parma, my teammates, the Coach, the fans and the people in the city for putting up with me in everything that I do,” Cassano told Sky Sport Italia.

“I know that I made them a bit angry recently, but I always find a way to make life more difficult for myself. I’ve got to stop complicating things that way!

“I am committed to Parma and am really impressed with the way we are playing. If we keep going like this, it will be tough for any opponent to take us on.”

When asked to pledge no more of his famous ‘Cassanate,’ he laughed.

“I’m no good at promises! I never keep them.”
