Michel Bastos landed in Italy today and will have his Roma medical tomorrow. “I am very happy to be here.”
The Brazilian had been on the verge of joining Napoli, but instead opted for the Giallorossi and his old Lille Coach Rudi Garcia.
“Forza Roma! I am very happy to be here,” the Al Ain winger told waiting journalists at the airport in Rome.
He arrives on loan for six months with wages worth €1.5m and Roma will have an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season for €3.5m.
Bastos should have his medical tomorrow and will be in the stands for Roma’s Coppa Italia quarter-final against Juventus on Tuesday.
