Lazio assistant Coach Alberto Bollini has lauded praise on the returning Edy Reja for transforming the team after being back in charge for just three weeks.
Following on from his full-time appointment in place of Vladimir Petkovic, the Aquile have gotten back to winning ways and picked up three wins in the four games in all competitions, much to his assistant’s
“Reja has transformed Lazio thanks to his experience, motivation and the impression of his character,” former Primavera boss Bollini has told Radio Onda Libera today.
“The approach has been very good and the results are beyond expectations.
“We get on well. I had the privilege of knowing him already, when I was in charge of the Primavera and Reja was the Coach of the first team.
“He is a true professional and a man of great calibre. In him, you can see the human aspect and the passion for sport. He is an example of style and quality.
“Where can Lazio go to now? I think we must take things by the day and regain our physical strength, because when we started the team was lacking a bit of athletic condition.
“But, so far we have been satisfied.”
Lazio, who had won just one of their previous seven games before Reja took over, will host Juventus in the League next on Saturday night.
