Fiorentina have confirmed that they have ‘by mutual consent’ terminated Gustavo Munua’s contract.
The Uruguayan goalkeeper arrived in the summer to act as support for Neto, but with just two Europa League appearances to his name, it has been decided by both parties that a separation would be mutually beneficial.
“Fiorentina announces that by mutual consent it has terminated the contract of Gustavo Munua,” a statement on their official website read.
“The club wants to wish the player all the best for the rest of his career.”
