Fredy Guarin’s future is evolving minute-by-minute, with reports now revealing that Napoli have made contact with Inter.

It was claimed earlier on Wednesday that the Partenopei were interested in signing the Colombia international.

And Sky Sport Italia have confirmed that Rafa Benitez’s men have been in touch with the Nerazzurri regarding the midfielder.

Guarin has been granted two days’ leave, as he tries to force his way out of the club following his anger at owner Erick Thohir’s decision to block a move to Juventus.

With his position at San Siro apparently untenable, the former Porto man looks to be on his way out of the Beneamata.

However, the situation seems to be complicated somewhat by the revelation that Guarin is only interested in joining the Bianconeri.

That though, seems unlikely, with Inter not willing to negotiate with the League leaders.
